EVC: Production Support
- Update and/or
redesign products as components became obsolete.
- Providing
ongoing production
support for a family of data loggers and associated sensors and
accessories. Support provided ranges from providing test fixtures and
procedures to approving alternate parts when a component is no longer
available from the original vendor. Troubleshoot failed units that are
beyond the client's internal capability.
- Maintain and upgrade the controls systems in several different assembly and filling machines for a manufacturer of medical instrument consumables.
- Maintain PLC programs for a variety of assembly and process applications.
- Build a computer controlled production test station for a family of advanced industrial process controllers: Re-design and modify as needed when the product specifications change.
- Design self-test hardware and software for a complex production test station for a manufacturer of process control equipment.
- Design and
build a variety of semi-automatic production test equipment for
manufacturers of electronic and electro-pneumatic devices.
- Provided ongoing production support for a manufacturer of machine tools.
- Troubleshoot and
repair a variety of old and new machines and machine-tools, many with
incomplete or
missing documentation.
- Other projects.
